We are a Black-owned education consulting firm composed of education researchers and advisors responsible for delivering and researching evidence based public education policy and program solutions.
Our core premise asserts that research, data, and policy are often not created to support Black communities. Moreover, many efforts fail to represent these communities’ unique environments and contexts. Thus, we partner with organizations to prioritize the needs of the Black community. Because what’s good for Black folks is good for all folks.
What We Do
Community Collaboration
Collaboration requires teamwork. We will help you build a shared vision that allows you to cooperate in everything that you do. We work with you to provide expert facilitation, identify key partners, and design meetings and convenings. After all, team work makes the dream work!
Research Design & Program Implementation
Research and evaluation are about asking the right questions. We work with you to discover those questions, determine root causes and build and implement programs. This includes figuring out your needs, clarifying your goals, designing pragmatic plans and developing capacity to get the “work” done.
Policy Analysis & Strategy
Policy helps create the context to make lasting change. We work with you to identify research, translate that research into evidence to develop policy proposals, and even scan the world to see if smart policy exists.
We partner with organizations to prioritize the needs of the Black community. Because what’s suitable for Black folks is good for all folks.
